Phuket, Similan Islands, and Phang Hga -- January 11-18, 2008

This trip is rated 5 little globes out of 5 on the Globe-Trotting Globe-o-meter.

Yarf!!!  No less than 600 kickin' - or in this case churnin' - horse power.

The boats seemed to float above the water.

The dining was decidedly casual.

Hey Cap'n Jack - why don't we "just do it".

Ours is the one on the left - Sue is partly visible in the deck.

The view from said deck.

It was this big.

The gratuitous pointing became rampant at this point.

In the rough section toward the bottom, Sue decided to butt sliding through the rocks,

but was soon bipedal again.

Just so there would be no misunderstanding, this sign categorically told us what country we were in.

Sue seemed to become quite attached to her life vest, wearing it up on the beach even though we were a good 100 yards away from the water.

Ouch - this young lady forgot to apply the sunscreen.  And also, more interestingly perhaps, also forgot to apply her bikini top.
